When you subscribe to our newsletter through the signup form on our web site, we collect your email address and postcode. The web site uses HTTPS to protect your submitted data from unauthorised interception. We collect postcodes to better understand the geographical distribution of people affected by traffic and parking problems in the Bishopston and St Andrews area.
We use MailChimp to store email lists, perform email distribution and to respond to unsubscribe requests. Your email address and postcode will be kept securely and your email adddress will only be used for the legitimate purpose of the sending you our newsletter. We will not share it with any 3rd parties. We will only keep your information for the duration of the campaign. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter by using the ‘unsubscribe’ link at the bottom of any email sent to you by MailChimp.
When you participate in our survey, we collect your postcode along with your survey answers. We collect postcodes to better understand the geographical distribution of people affected by traffic and parking problems in the Bishopston and St Andrews area.
We will not collect other personally identifiable information such as email address, business name, house/flat number as part of our survey.
When you submit a survey response (paper or online) we will be able to look up your postcode because it is linked back to the survey ID that has been delivered to you by post. We do not store an association between survey IDs and postal addresses. We use survey IDs to make it more difficult for individuals to submit multiple survey responses.
